Home of the Chicago Cubs
Wrigley Field is located in Chicago, IL and home to the Chicago Cubs. Originally built as Weegham Park in 1914, Wrigley Field was once home to the Chicago Whales. Between 1920-1926, the field was called Cubs Park. In 1927; however, the name was officially changed to Wrigley Field by the then owner - William Wrigley, Jr., the chewing gum businessman.
Located in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, the field has a current capacity of over 40,000 people. Although the Chicago Cubs have called Wrigley field home since 1916, the field has yet to see the Cubs win a world series.
